DIASPORA LONDON MUSIC VILLAGE 2005

The Diaspora Programme in 2005 followed on from the sucessful explorations of the Diaspora theme in 2002 and 2004, and once again explored the cultural dimension of mass population displacements. For the first time ever, the Festival focussed exclusively on musicians and other artists now settled in London and featured an all star line-up.

Kew Gardens FREE Festival weekend, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June (click here for programme and list of performers).The weekend offered free entry to London's newest World Cultural Heritage site, the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. Kew's exquisite natural spaces and magnificent botanical collections provide a stunning backdrop to this profusion of musical talent.
